There are new wine fields to visit and wines to taste. Spring is always a good time to visit San Diego County.

Quail Garden (Encinitas) or Botanical Gardens Tour (Ballboa Park) Both have to carry a picnic basket and have a picnic lunch. Both are beautiful locations for photography sessions. Check with Gardens to see if you're allowed to bring wine picnic lunch. A casual Igloo lunch might be more appropriate. I also don't think they allow people to change their clothing, therefore a layered effect might be better. Also, beware of plant life, they have some rare species of plants and are noise-sensitive and light-sensitive. Interesting to look at. Don't recommend it if your only purpose is to take photographs for your followers. Both are beautiful locations for weddings. I also don't recommend these locations for loud parties.
Carlsbad Boutique Area - Many are not aware the city of Carlsbad has a whole are of small business shops where people can visit and march around the town and shop at local businesses. Small town feel in a big city.
