2023 Wedding Trends
When I think of how I normally do I would have had this written six (6) months ago. Normally, I watch the trends and write about them early, allowing people to find their own trends. This year was different, this year I played with the notion of what it would be like to be by myself indoors for a long period of time. Only to discover, that would also work out just fine.
Wedding, meeting, and event planning trends come and go. There are some things that just stay. The question is what type of bride are you? Are you a classic bride? Then the Grace Kelly style dress would be for you? Are you the sexy, lustful bride, the silk might be the dress for you? It all depends upon the type, and style of bride you are. The rest is built around the type of bride you are. What’s trending today this spring and summer is as shown in this photograph.
Outdoors, Garden Style weddings. “Simplistic Elegance” I would like to name it. Not too much of any one thing, not too little of any one thing. There are some big things around the world, and in the states, we keep things simple. That is not to imply that “Big” is not happening. It’s to say people are being hushed, hush about it. Until it’s written about on the society page of the newspaper. “Whose baby is it anyway?” So to speak.
What really matters most to the bride is currently ‘non-covid wedding”. Many are keeping this simple hoping to have no problems with covid flare-ups.

Trending Colors in Spring I would say are shades of: Purple (The Photographs are on Yellow background due to the fact MK Pure Diamond Events Website is shades of yellow, orange, and other outdoor warm colors in the coolness of day)
Tablescape Decor: This has taken a different look with lots of small bud vases clustered together to create a bigger decor or serpentine shape. That one was a surprise to me. Didn't expect the single vase decor. (Beer lovers can serve "Bud" beer to liven up the reception.
One of the best-decorated tables I have seen this year is an all-mirrored table with candles and flowers in bud vases. The flowers were purple, and this with the candle lights was absolutely beautiful. They added purple lighting that reflected off the floor and it was a dream-like feeling being in the space. Im not sure if they had a mirror on the floor it most certainly was a reflective material that allowed you to feel like you were walking in the sky. (lol whoever really walks in the sky?
What Colors are trending? I would say non of them and all of them. Didn't find any one color that had more power in trend than another. "Freedom of Choice". I would say that is what the bride and groom want. I can't say this only applies to brides and grooms it is an overall reception trend or party trend.
MK Pure Diamond Events understands the need for brides who what to be trendy or on trend, therefore the receptions look is more "Simplistic Elegance".
